Anyone know the best Japanese place in NYC? I've been meaning to get myself some umeboshi onigiri for a while now. The donuts were good, but the OG is best for a reason :D

There's a really good place near Empire State U that I go to sometimes when I get cravings for real Japanese food. I can show you, if you like? They know me now and I get free hand rolls.

There's something about the combo of sour and the sweetness of the rice and then the salty of the seaweed that just combines into perfection. Mwah! *chef's kiss*

Also, it was my birthday on Monday, which I totally forgot to mention, so I'm going to treat myself tomorrow. Lucky Cat Sushi for the win!

I know a good place for Japanese tea! Only a small food menu, though - sweets. I've not tried real sushi.
